FAQs

4-Week Program

  1. What is included in the 4-week program?
The 4-Week Strength & Conditioning Program is designed to help athletes develop strength and conditioning for improved performance on the court. My focus is set on developing speed, agility, and power through a combination of mobility, plyometrics, strength & conditioning exercises, as well as building stability and balance for the beach. The program is tailored to each athlete's individual needs and goals, ensuring maximum progress and success. It costs $100 for a 4-week program and includes a complimentary first introduction session.

  2. Is BeachFit an online service?
Yes, BeachFit primarily operates as an online coaching service. Our workout plans and training materials are delivered through the
EverFit coaching app. However, rest assured that you will have access to video instructions for each exercise, and I'm available to provide support and guidance whenever you need it.

  3. What can I expect in each workout?
Each workout session typically lasts around 60-75 minutes and is conducted at the gym. It includes five main workout sections: mobility exercises to improve range of motion, power exercises to enhance explosive strength, strength exercises to build overall strength, core exercises for stability, and conditioning exercises to improve endurance. The workouts are designed to enhance your beach volleyball performance.

  4. How is each 4-week block structured?
Each 4-week block is structured with specific phases to optimize your progress. It starts with an adaptation week to introduce new exercises and allow your body to adjust. The following weeks consist of a loading week, where the intensity and volume gradually increase, followed by a shock week that challenges you further. Finally, a deload week is incorporated to allow for recovery and preparation for the next block.

  5. What happens when I finish one 4-week phase?
Upon completing a 4-week phase, I will reach out to you to discuss your progress and goals. If you wish to continue, I will prepare your next phase, which builds upon the previous one and introduces more challenging aspects. This progressive approach ensures that your training remains dynamic and aligned with your evolving needs.

  6. Will the program be tailored keeping off-season and in-season demands in mind?
Yes, the program takes into consideration the different demands of the off-season and in-season periods. During the off-season, the focus is on building a strong foundation, which is then transformed into improved power and speed. In the in-season phase, the emphasis shifts towards maintaining the progress made and injury prevention. The training blocks are adjusted accordingly to align with the specific phase of the season you are in.

  7. Is full gym access required?
For optimal results, I highly suggest having access to a fully equipped gym. This allows me to schedule the right challenges at the right time with the perfect equipment to enhance your beach volleyball performance. However, I can also program sessions for your home gym. Please note that without essential equipment such as a plyo box, medicine balls, and a range of dumbbells, it may be challenging to plan sessions that are 100% beach volleyball specific.
